Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

These Terms of Service ('Terms') constitute a legally binding agreement between you ('User' or 'Organizer') and ALTIRON ONE GLOBAL PRIVATE LIMITED ('Company'), governing your use of the Tourney24 platform. By creating an account or using any part of the Platform, you agree to these Terms in full. If you are accessing the Platform on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.

2. Platform Description

Tourney24 is a tournament marketplace and management platform that enables:

(a) Users to discover, register for, and participate in sports tournaments; and

(b) Organizers to create, manage, operate, and monetize sports tournaments.

The Company acts as an intermediary platform and technology provider, not a co-organizer or event guarantor.

3. Account Registration

  • You must be at least 18 years of age to create an account. Users under 18 require verifiable parental consent.
  • You must provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and keep it updated.
  • You are solely responsible for all activity that occurs under your account and for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials.
  • The Company reserves the right to suspend, restrict, or permanently ban any account at its sole discretion, including for policy violations, fraudulent activity, or reputational harm to the Platform.
  • Organizer accounts are subject to verification before activation. The Company may request supporting documents including GST registration, PAN, or event licenses.

4. Fees, Payments & Revenue

4.1 User Payments

  • Entry fees and ticket prices are set by Organizers and displayed on tournament listings. A convenience fee of ₹5–₹10 per ticket is charged by the Platform to users.
  • All payments are processed through third-party payment gateways. The Company does not store payment instrument data.
  • Refund eligibility is governed by the Organizer's refund policy. The Platform does not guarantee refunds unless a tournament is cancelled by the Organizer.

4.2 Organizer Commission

  • The first 3 tournaments listed by a new Organizer are commission-free.
  • From the 4th tournament onwards, a commission of 7% + applicable GST is deducted from tournament revenue before disbursement.
  • Revenue flow: User payments → Company escrow account → commission deducted → remainder disbursed to Organizer's registered bank account within 5–7 business days post-tournament completion.
  • The Company reserves the right to withhold disbursement in cases of disputes, chargebacks, violations, or pending investigations.

4.3 Future Subscription

The Company may introduce a SaaS subscription plan (estimated ₹599/month) for advanced live scoring and broadcasting features post Year 1. Existing organizers will be notified 30 days in advance.

5. Organizer Obligations

  • Organizers are solely responsible for the planning, execution, safety, and legal compliance of their tournaments.
  • Organizers must obtain all necessary venue permits, insurance, and regulatory approvals.
  • Organizers must not create fake, misleading, or fraudulent tournament listings.
  • Organizers must honor registered participant slots and refund participants if a tournament is cancelled.
  • Organizers grant the Company the right to use tournament information, results, and aggregated data for platform analytics, marketing, and product development.
  • Organizers must not use the Platform to discriminate against participants on the basis of religion, caste, gender, or other protected characteristics.

6. User Obligations

  • Users must provide accurate registration details and not impersonate other individuals.
  • Users must abide by tournament rules set by Organizers.
  • Users must not engage in match fixing, fraud, or any conduct that compromises the integrity of tournaments.
  • Users must not post defamatory, abusive, or false content on the Platform.

7. Intellectual Property

All Platform content, software, branding, design, and features are the exclusive property of ALTIRON ONE GLOBAL PRIVATE LIMITED. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, reverse-engineer, or create derivative works from any part of the Platform without express written consent.

Organizers retain ownership of their original tournament content but grant the Company a perpetual, royalty-free, worldwide license to use, display, distribute, and sublicense such content for platform and promotional purposes.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Company shall not be liable for: (a) physical injuries or property damage occurring at tournaments; (b) Organizer cancellations, delays, or mismanagement; (c) payment gateway failures; (d) force majeure events; (e) indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from Platform use. The Company's maximum aggregate liability to any party shall not exceed the amount of commission received from that party in the 3 months preceding the claim.

9. Dispute Resolution

Any dispute arising out of these Terms shall first be attempted to be resolved through good-faith negotiation. Failing resolution within 30 days, disputes shall be submitted to binding arbitration under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996, with the seat of arbitration in Bengaluru, Karnataka. The language of arbitration shall be English. These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Subject to arbitration, courts in Bengaluru shall have exclusive jurisdiction.

10. Termination

The Company may terminate or suspend your account at any time with or without notice for any breach of these Terms. Users may delete their accounts at any time via account settings. Data retention obligations post-termination are governed by the Privacy Policy.

11. Modifications

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on the Platform. Continued use after the effective date of changes constitutes acceptance. For material changes, we will notify registered users via email at least 7 days in advance.
