1. Payment Failure Refunds
If a payment is debited from your account but the registration is not confirmed due to a technical failure, gateway error, or network issue, the full amount will be automatically reversed to your original payment method within 7 business days. No manual request is required.
If the amount is not credited within 7 business days, you may raise a dispute at support@tourney24.com with your transaction reference.
2. Player Cancellation & No-Show Policy
Tourney24 is a technology platform that facilitates tournament registrations. Refunds for player cancellations, withdrawals, or no-shows are entirely at the discretion of the tournament organizer.
- Tourney24 bears no responsibility for refunds arising from a player's inability to attend a registered tournament.
- Each organizer may define their own cancellation and refund terms at the time of creating the tournament. Players are advised to review the organizer's refund terms before completing registration.
- If no refund terms are stated by the organizer, the registration fee is treated as non-refundable by default.
- Tourney24 will not mediate or arbitrate refund disputes between players and organizers arising from cancellations or no-shows.
3. Tournament Cancellation by Organizer
If an organizer cancels a tournament after players have registered and paid:
- The refund to registered players is entirely the organizer's responsibility. Tourney24 bears no liability for refunds arising from an organizer-initiated cancellation.
- Organizers are expected to communicate cancellations directly to their registered players and process applicable refunds as per the terms they set at the time of tournament creation.
- Upon receiving a confirmed cancellation notice from the organizer, Tourney24 will transfer the total collected tournament revenue to the organizer's registered bank account within 48 hours, after deducting the applicable platform commission of 7% + GST.
- Since the funds are disbursed to the organizer, all player refunds must be processed by the organizer from the amount received.
- Repeated cancellations may result in account review or permanent suspension of the organizer's account on Tourney24.
4. Organizer Payout Policy
4.1 Payout Timeline
Tournament revenue collected by Tourney24 will be transferred to the organizer's registered bank account within 5-7 business days after the tournament's scheduled end date, subject to no active disputes or holds.
4.2 Commission Deduction
Tourney24 charges a platform commission of 7% + applicable GST on the total tournament revenue collected. This amount is deducted before the payout is transferred to the organizer.
The first 3 tournaments hosted by an organizer on Tourney24 are commission-free. Commission applies from the 4th tournament onward.
4.3 Convenience Fee
A platform convenience fee of ₹5-₹10 per ticket is charged to the player at the time of registration. This fee is collected by Tourney24 and is not part of the organizer's revenue and is not subject to commission deduction.
4.4 Payout Holds
Tourney24 reserves the right to place a temporary hold on an organizer's payout in the following circumstances:
- An active player dispute or complaint is under review.
- Suspected fraudulent activity or policy violations on the organizer's account.
Holds will be communicated to the organizer via email and resolved within a reasonable timeframe.
